Oh my goodness. Best Barbecue in town hands down . Plus Daniel is super friendly and gave us great service. Don’t be put off eating in a gas station. Just do it. Fantastic and I’m very picky.
BOMB!!! & About time, but unfortunately it was over before it even lasted! I thought something was weird towards the end, they had some new rude guy working the counter & then shutdown the very next day, couldn't believe it. Man they smoked that meat to a superb super juicy Bombay Perfection "you could smell it for blocks!"
If you want old school, home cooked Que! Then Daddy D' is the spot. Although they came from humble beginnings. Theor Que was the Best in the Vancouver/ Portland area. Meat was Moist, tender and cooked to perfection (Unlike Creekside who pride themselves on bad reviews. Don't believe me. Check out my review from earlier today and their bathroom). I can truly say as a visitor to the region. This staff cared about quality and consistency. Hell, they had a line out of the Shell Gas Station where one of their locations are located. As a person that travels for work. It's always important to find those food gems. And this was that DIAMOND that saved my lunch. (LEFT my food uneaten at CREEKSIDE to come to them). Great food, super friendly staff, deserves to have a building all to itself instead of sharing with a gas station- got the pork ribs and beans and hot dignity they were super good!
Seriously best bbq in the PNW. The owner is so personable. Pricing is fair. Food quality is spot on. Would definitely recommend. Had the smokin oak in Vancouver tonight and was such a let down compared to Daddy D's.
I stopped by for the first time and it was definitely worth the trip. It's in the back of a Shell station and has a counter and tables to some in if you'd like. I got the ribs plate with baked beans and coleslaw. The ribs were so meaty and cooked perfectly and the baked beans were some of the best I've ever had. The service was also great and friendly. I'll definitely be back again.
Awesome BBQ, good prices, and super friendly owners! I was a little hesitant pulling up to the gas station where this is, but after getting inside it's not bad at all! You can either sit down, look at the menu, and they'll come out to take your order, or you can walk up to the register and get it to go. The food tastes great, especially the baked beans.
